Dr. Fabian Braun

Dr. Fabian Braun earned his doctoral degree from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in January 2025. In his dissertation, "Essays on Sustainable Finance – The Role of Preferences, Incentives, and Information for Sustainable Investments," he explored the key factors influencing sustainable investment decisions. His research focused on the role of (ambiguous) information, the impact of (motivated) beliefs, and the effect of investor preferences.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Mannheim and a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance from the University of Mainz.

Dr. Nina-Alessa Michel (geb. Gruzdov)

Dr. Nina-Alessa Michel was a doctoral candidate at the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz. Concerning her research she focused on Venture Capital funding, innovation and human capital as well as firm performance.

Before joining the chair of Corporate Finance in March 2019, she studied International Economics and Public Policy at the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz.

Nina submitted her dissertation and received her doctoral degree at the University of Mainz with the title:

"Essays on Financial Systems and their effect on Economic Growth, Employment and Innovation"
