Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches
Die Kleingruppen zur Veranstaltung „Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten“ (WA) sind einem Schwerpunkt zugeordnet (Accounting and Finance, International Economics, Management, Public Policy und Statistik). Eine Übersicht über die Lehrstühle der einzelnen Schwerpunkte finden Sie unter:https://wiwi.uni-mainz.de/lehrstuehle/ Bitte melden Sie sich vorzugsweise zu der Kleingruppe an, die dem Schwerpunkt angehört, in dem Sie später auch Ihre Bachelorarbeit schreiben möchten. Damit ergibt sich aber kein Anspruch auf einen bestimmten Bachelorseminarplatz. Sie können die Gruppe generell frei wählen. Sollten die Plätze vergeben sein, wählen Sie bitte eine andere Gruppe. In allen Kleingruppen wird der gleiche Stoff behandelt. Inhaltlich gibt es somit keine Unterschiede zwischen den Gruppen.Workshoptage wissenschaftliches Arbeiten:
Die theoretischen Grundlagen der Veranstaltung Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten werden gruppenübergreifend am Freitag und Samstag, den 17. und 18. April 2026 in zwei Workshoptagen im RW1 (jeweils 08:30 bis 14:00 Uhr) vermittelt. Ziel ist es, die Theorie mit praktischen Anwendungen zu verknüpfen. Bitte bringen Sie einen Laptop und ein Tablet oder Smartphone mit. Bitte denken Sie auch an Verpflegung, falls die Mensen am Samstag nicht geöffnet haben.
Es besteht keine Anwesenheitspflicht an den beiden Workshoptagen. Die Teilnahme wird jedoch dringend empfohlen, da die im Workshop besprochenen Inhalte die Grundlage für die Kleingruppenarbeit und die anschließende Prüfungsleistung bilden. Diese Inhalte werden nicht wiederholt. Eine Aufzeichnung der Veranstaltung erfolgt aus Datenschutzgründen nicht. Es wird vorausgesetzt, dass die Inhalte selbstständig erarbeitet werden, falls eine Teilnahme an den Workshoptagen nicht möglich sein sollte. Die Kursunterlagen werden allen für den Kurs berechtigten Studierenden bereitgestellt.
Prüfungsleistung:
Die Prüfungsleistung bei WA besteht in der Formulierung einer Problemstellung und einer Präsentation dieser. Aus diesem Grund müssen Sie sich bei der Anmeldung zur Lehrveranstaltung auch direkt zur Prüfung anmelden. Wählen Sie bei der Anmeldung daher unbedingt den 1. Prüfungstermin und geben Sie eine TAN ein. Wenn Sie "Prüfungstermin nicht wahrnehmen" wählen, können Sie nicht an WA teilnehmen.
